ST BRELADE BOWLS CLUB was founded in 1988 at Les Quennevais Sports Centre,

The first President was Ben Van-Niekerk .Since then there has been 6 Presidents, the current holder being Jean Holmes.Our long-standing  Patron is Mrs Enid Quenault a former Connetable of the Parish. 

When the Club opened with a membership of 260, there were 100 people on the waiting list. However when Les Creux Bowls Club was formed the list has decreased and we know have vacancies the Club wishes to fill.

Over the years members have represented the Club at island, International and World Bowls level, and acquitted themselves very well indeed. Locally both men and ladies teams have won many inter league titles along the way.

Since the Club opened over 20 years ago the Clubhouse has greatly increased in size and improved facilities for catering and entertaining. The Social Committee organize many functions during the year ranging from B.B.Q's, Bingo and other social gatherings which are well supported. Each year money is raised for a chosen local charity.
